Ile-Rousse is recognised for its covered market, narrow streets and Paoli Place surrounded by coffee shops and terraces and its famous sea front promenade known as the 'Marinella' which runs along side the white sandy beach.

But the most important attraction is of course, 'the Red Pietra Island' which gives its name to the city.
