Once you've reached the entrance to the town centre in just a few minutes on foot, you can wander the cobbled streets with their historic names at your leisure. On the Place Paoli, in the shade of hundreds of years old plane trees, you can relax and play a game of pétanque. Unless you prefer a refreshing drink at one of the bars lining the esplanade.

Put your towel down just a few steps from the town centre. First, along the Promenade Marinella, where the crystal-clear waters of Plage Napoléon beckon the whole family to cool off. Stretching for almost 350 metres, it ends in a rocky outcrop and gives rise to the Caruchettu beach. Net fishermen and explorers delight in the marine life at the foot of the reefs.
The magnificent Bodri beach is just a few minutes' drive from the Hotel La Pietra. Here too, nature's vivid colours blend the turquoise blue of the water with the deep green of the garrigue. Between the scrubland and the white sand, it's just a short stroll to the neighbouring beach of Ghjunchitu. Just as splendid, this beach boasts some of the finest sand on the Isle of Beauty, making it a delight to relax on. Then head south to visit the coves and other swimming spots. Cala di Furnellu, Aregno and Punta di Spanu punctuate the elegant arabesques of the Balinese coastline.
